Project Summary

Melco Engineering are the continued OEM Manufacturer of Dragline Buckets ranging in size and design for CQMS Razer Ltd.

Buckets manufactured range from 46m³ to 110m³ with an average completion period of six to eight weeks. Dragline buckets manufactured have been supplied through this ongoing relationship to Asset Owners within the mining industry throughout Queensland and New South Wales, examples being BHP and Glencore, with in excess of 70 bucket builds completed to date.

Throughout manufacture of the dragline buckets, Melco complies with a number of regulatory standards including but not limited to AS1554.4, with all boilermakers qualified under AS2980.

The Melco scope of works includes fabrication and assembly of the dragline buckets and encompasses 30,000 labour hours per annum providing approximately 15 jobs to the local Mackay economy yearly.
